Find a Better Layout As you edit the list in the Text Pane did you notice that the matching text in the SmartArt diagram automatically updated the type size as you added more items to the bulleted lists?   In our example, the text in the diagram got smaller and smaller. Let's try another Layout.   5. Try This: Change the Layout Select the SmartArt Diagram, first. Go to SmartArt Tools->Design->Layouts. Select a Layout: Horizontal Picture List.   What Do You See? This Layout is easier to read. That's better!
