Exam 77-424: Microsoft Access 2013
2.0 Build Tables
2.1 Create a Table: Create Linked Tables from External Sources (Linked Table Manager)

Linked Table Manager

What happens to the Linked Tables if the FRDATA database is moved to a different server? Microsoft Access has a way to refresh the links: the Linked Table Manager.

9. Try it: Manage the Linked Tables

Go to Get External Data ->Import and Link.

Select Linked Table Manager.

What Do You See? The Linked Table Manager lists the Tables that are linked to this database.

Try This, Too: Prompt for a New Location

When you select this option, Access will bring up a Browser window so that you can seek the new location. Select the FRDATA database.

Click OK. The Linked Table Manager will confirm that the linked Tables were successfully refreshed. Close the Linked Table Manager.
