Picture Tools->Format -> Adjust ->Color

Adjust the Picture Color

There are three ways to adjust the picture color:

Saturation: How much color

Tone: Warm (more red) or Cold (more blue color)

Recolor: Applies a color filter

Before You Begin: Insert a Picture

Go to Insert->Illustrations->Pictures.
Browse to the
Documents folder.
Select a picture: FarmersMarket23.jpg

7: Try it: Create a Washout

Select the new picture.

Go to Picture Tools->Format->Adjust.

Click on Color->Recolor.
Choose WASHOUT.

What Do You see? The washout effect is created by adjusting the Brightness and Contrast. Brightness changes how much light is shining on the picture. Contrast is the difference between absolute black and absolute white.

Did you notice that the text moved after the picture was added? We'll change that in a minute.

Keep going...
