Format the Picture

When a picture is added to a document it is usually formatted In Line With Text. This is the default setting for how pictures interact with text.

 
In effect, the picture is anchored to the line, same as any word. The picture will be easier to work with if you change the Text Wrapping.

 

Tight means that the text will flow, or wrap, around the picture. This makes it easy to move the picture like a sticky-note.

7. Try It: Change the Text Wrap
Click once on the picture to select it

Go to Format-> Arrange.
Click on Wrap Text.

Select Top and Bottom.

 

Try This, Too: Format the Picture
Go to Picture Tools -> Format ->Size.
Edit the Width: 2"

Go to Picture Tools -> Format.
Select a Picture Style and add a shadow or a reflection.
