Spelling and Grammar

Microsoft Office 2013 includes a dictionary that compares your spelling and grammar as you type.

If your words do not match ones in the dictionary, you will see a red wavy line. That's the Spell Checker.

If your sentence has a structural problem with the grammar, say the subject and the verb do not match, then you will see a green wavy line. That's the Grammar Checker.

Try it: Spell and Grammar Check

Type the following two sentences:

We was walking to school.

We saw Charlotte Sergayiff.

Please include all of the punctuation!

Click Enter on your keyboard.

What Do You See? There should be a red wavy line under "Sergayiff." That's the spell checker. The wavy line under "was" is the Grammar Checker.

Keep going...
