Unlink
a Subdocument
The Outline Tools also have an option to remove, or Unlink, a Subdocument.
Before You Begin: Insert a new Subdocument into the Outline. You can use any sample file. The example on this page shows the Calendar we created in an earlier lesson.
6. Try it: Unlink a Subdocument
Select the new Subdocument.
Go to
Outlining ->Master Document->Unlink.
What Do You See? The Subdocument will be removed. OK, that works.
Close the Outline View.
You will return to the Normal, or Print Layout, View. You should see all of the Headings, graphics and formatting in the Subdocuments.
