Find and Replace Options

Find and Replace options can take this process one step further. After you find specific text, you can replace it. This is an excellent way to update a report.

 

1. Try This: Find and Replace

Go to Home-> Editing->Replace.

What Do You See? You can use Find Next to Find and Replace the highlighted text one at a time. You can also choose Replace All, and have Microsoft Word automatically update all of the text that matches your criteria if you wish. Keep going...

Memo to Self: Say you wanted to find all "Windows." You could Find: Windows*, where the * is a Wildcard. This search will find "Windows and anything else."
