Insert a New Column

Hello Table! It is very easy to modify a Table, compared to a tabbed list.

First, a few definitions.
Columns are vertical. Rows are horizontal. The Columns are given letter names, A, B, C, beginning with the first Column on the left. The Rows are given numbers, starting with the first Row on the Top.

Cells are named by the Column and Row. For example, Cell A1 has the label Product.

 

Try It: Insert a Column

Select Column C.

Go to Table Tools ->Layout.

Go to Rows and Columns.

Select: Insert Right.
