Exam 77-423: Microsoft Outlook 2013
2.0 Manage Messages
2.3 Organize and Manage Messages: Cleanup Messages

Folder ->Properties->Folder Properties

View Mailbox Size

How big is the mailbox? Good question: many corporate and government servers have a limit on how much stuff you can keep in Outlook. The data is available in the Folder Properties.

Before You Begin: Select the Home folder, the one at the top of the navigation pane. In this example, it is the one called Glen, the owner of the E-mail account.

3. Try it: View the Mailbox Size

Go to Folder ->Properties.

Click on Folder Properties.
Go to General ->Folder Size.

What Do You See? The Total size is calculated. The size for each subfolder is also shown. For example, Glen's Home Folder has 3.5 MB of messages, meetings and attachments combined.

Click Close to return to the Properties.

Click OK to return to Outlook.

Keep going...
