Exam 77-423: Microsoft Outlook 2013
1.0 Manage the Outlook Environment
1.1 Customize Outlook Settings: Customize The Navigation Pane

Find More Outlook Folders:
Customize the Navigation Pane

You can automatically track your Outlook activity (messages, tasks, etc.) with the Journal. You can also use the Journal to track the time that you work on a document or spreadsheet.

The Journal can be found by using the Navigation Pane, as we did with the Calendar, Tasks and Notes, however the Journal is not a Quick Step on the bottom of the Pane. It is a different View.

1. Try it: Find the Journal

Go to the Navigation Pane.
Click on the 3-Dots for More.
Select Folders.

What Do You See? The Folders view shows all of the various places we have been in Outlook: Inbox, Calendar, Contacts, Notes and More.

OK, Try This: Select the Journal
Go to the Folders and click on Journal.

Keep going...

View ->Layout->Folder Pane->Normal
