Save the Macro

When you add Macros to a spreadsheet you need to save your work as a Macro-Enabled file. Macros are code. It is different than the default Excel file format. This page shows how to save a Macro.

 

1. Try it: Save the Macro

Go to File->Save As.

 
What Do You See? The Save As window will prompt you to fill in the following:

 

Location: The Documents folder

 

File name: Sales with Macros EAN, where EAN are your initials.

 

Save as type: Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook

 

Click on Save.
