Make COPIES of the Database

Begin by making TWO copies of the database: One for the Tables and another one for everything else. Here are the steps.

 

Before You Begin: Copy the Database

Close and Save all Access Objects. If a Table, Form, Query or Report is open, Access will close all open objects before creating the Save As.

 

Go to File ->Save Database As.

Browse to your Documents folder.

Enter the name: FRFORMS,

Where FR means Front Row Video and FORMS indicates that this database has the User Interface.

Click Save

 

And Try This: Create a Second Copy

Go to File ->Save Database As.

Browse to your Documents folder.

Enter the name: FRDATA.

Click Save

 

What Do You See? There should be two new databases in your Documents folder.

File->Save Database As
