The Crosstab Query shows the Genre in the Rows and the Ratings in the Columns.

There is a Column that Counts the Total for each Genre. In this example, there are 13 Action movies in tblMovies.

The Crosstab Query Counts the number of movies in each Rating, as well. In this example there is one G Rated Comedy and 35 G Rated Family films.

What Do You See? The Row Header, Genre, has a Filter. You can use the drop down to select one, some or all of the Genres if you wish.

OK, Close the Crosstab Query. If you are prompted to Save the Query, click Yes.
