Create Table Relationships

Normalized databases use the Primary Key to create relationships between Tables. The relationship can be ad hoc, such as creating a Join between two Tables in a Query, or it can be explicit as part of the database definitions.

 

Microsoft Access defines relationships with the Database Tools.

 

1. Try it: Create the Table Relationships

Go to Database Tools ->Relationships.

Click on: Relationships.
